Wahter Studio: INDEX Retrospective

Conceived by Wahter Studio during Paris Design Week, the exhibition brings together original works created for INDEX by Wolfgang Tillmans, Juergen Teller, Leeta Harding, and more—alongside rare archival issues, spreads, and landmark interviews.

The idea grew out of our obsession with the magazine’s unique voice: queer, punk-spirited, and radically independent. INDEX gave early space to cultural outsiders, artists, and musicians who would later define an era. This retrospective is both a celebration and a duty of transmission—passing on the magazine’s legacy to a new generation.
